At its inception Medina was an unincorporated farming community aided by the Ohio and Erie canal. Later, the Village of Medina became a center for beehive manufacturing and today the City of Medina stands as a quiet, well maintained, and safe bedroom community with a nine-block Historic District surrounding Uptown Park, sitting center stage. This is the American Dream at its finest. Tree lined streets, friendly neighbors, accessible community leaders, sought after schools, Medina has it all and you can too. This home has been maintained with the utmost pride of ownership, clean in even the hardest to reach areas, never a maintenance item left ignored. Enjoy hassle free living in the 4-bedroom, 2 full bath split. The lower-level family room walks out to the garage and features a beautiful brick, wood burning fireplace, next to the recently converted and remodeled 4th bedroom and full bath. Just below, the basement level offers a huge 21x19 den, situated next to the pristine laundry/utility room. The main level features a perfect 21x15 living room, formal dining, a lovely kitchen with recently painted cupboards and a fantastic morning room leading to a large, well-maintained deck out back and a completely flat nearly half acre yard. If cleanliness is next to Godliness, then we just might be in heaven! This is what life looks like when one couple lovingly and diligently maintains the same home, overseeing every nook and cranny, tending to every dust particle and stray streak or crumb without fail for 54 years. You'll feel the warmth and loving energy of a family that has done life right, without the evidence of those lives, leaving you with a seemingly untouched, perfect specimen to now call your own, the freshest of canvas from which to begin painting your new life at 3959 Lor Ron St. in Historic Kent, OH. From the well-documented conveniences of a ranch style home, this one presented in brick and vinyl w/leafless gutter guards lining the perimeter, to the carefully maintained landscaping and magnificent mature trees, the covered front porch to the enclosed 3 seasons room that overlooks the nearly half acre back yard, to the oversized 2 car garage with its sparkling epoxy floor and connected workshop space, you don't need to use your imagination to see why living here will put you one step closer to the fairy tale you've always imagined your life would be. Beyond the inviting deep red front door offers a large living room with picture window a formal dining room that walks out to the 3 seasons room, an eat-in kitchen w/dinette, remodeled in 2016 with convenient garage access for the family grocer, 3 main floor bedrooms with good sized closets and ample natural light, and a large main bath remodeled in 2016 and showing no signs of wear. The finished basement is kitsch without being gratuitous and as new as the day it was finished, offering around 620 sqft of finished space w/the perfect complimentary bar and a full bath plus another 700 + sq of storage, utility, laundry, and workspace. The main floor was carpeted throughout in '21, new faux wood style blinds 2020, and the basement offers top of the line well equipment, a tankless hot water heater installed in 2020-, glass block windows and more!

On a quiet horseshoe-shaped road in one of America's Safest Cities, sits a unique Cape Cod unlike any other on the block. Upon entering the south-facing front living room, the original hardwood floor leads the way to the sunken family room that sits perpendicular to both the front room and the eat-in kitchen with its updated countertops and cabinetry, newer plumbing and lighting fixtures, and stainless steel appliances. With the addition of the family room, the option exists to designate the living room as a formal dining area.  At the rear northeast corner, just beyond where the kitchen and family room intersect are doors leading to an enclosed four seasons room and the attached oversized garage. Upstairs is a dedicated 31x10 owners suite with vaulted ceilings, wall-to-wall wood floors, a built-in dresser and linen closet, and a built-in bookshelf and walk-in closet. If the massive 2nd-floor bedroom isn't enough, there is an 8x11 en suite with his and her vanities, a walk-in shower, and more of those gorgeous wood floors. This modified Cape Cod can only properly be described as a Cape Mod. And there's more... The distribution panel was replaced with a 200 amp service in 2021. In May of 2022, ceiling fans were installed in every first-floor room, and whole-house foam and blown-in attic insulation were added. Finally, the Well Rite extra large pressure tank was installed in 2022 and in February 2024 a full septic replacement was completed. After replacing the entire west foundation wall in 2021, waterproofing inside and out, and replacing the downspouts and drainage, half of the basement was finished into a 30x11 rec room in 2023, and exterior and interior painting proved the final touches to the home by our current homeowner. The over half-acre lot is conducive to productive family activities and entertaining alike. This home is clean, updated, and structurally sound and Manchester Local Schools and the City of New Franklin are highly regarded. Come see for yourself

This home is a true one-of-a-kind find. Well built, practical, modern, and tasteful. An all-brick raised ranch with a two-bay garage beneath. A perfectly finished walk-out basement with a fireplace and one of three bay windows overlooking the back yard. Man is the back yard beautiful or what? Serene is the word on the tip of your tongue. From the modern eat-in kitchen to the big peaceful covered patio just beyond, and the 2 main floor bay windows that make the back of the home feel like a wall of windows overlooking the big beautiful back yard, to the perfect pallet of colors throughout, the availability of storage, and the two tiled wood-burning fireplaces, one up, one down, this home just feels good. Peaceful. You’ll fall in love at the front door. If two bedrooms aren’t enough, I urge you to get rid of one of your children, two of them even. Because where else will you find such a gorgeous eat-in kitchen with granite tops, a new double oven, even newer side-by-side fridge, and built-in gas range complete with a walk-in pantry and walk-in utility closet, plus a tastefully modern new primary bathroom with his and her vanities? When will you ever again find five closets in one hallway; a coat closet, a matching second closet, a large cedar closet for towels and bedding, a walk-in closet that is more of a hallway with hooks and at the end opens into a walk-up attic behind cupboard doors, and finally a walk-in linen closet. The primary bedroom has his and her walk-in closets, and the second bedroom has yet another walk-in closet. The finished portion of the walk-out basement includes a 13x17 bonus room and a second tastefully done full bath. Plus theres a large laundry/utility/storage room, with a small canning/storage room with shelves just off of it. The garage even has a utility/storage/workshop room off of it. You won’t run out of space or function in this cooler than you home. The mature trees, storage shed, and fenced in garden are the perfect cherry on top.

Long ago (early 2000s), before some people were even born, a guy called Gary had some land out by an old drive-in theater. You see, people used to just fill their car with snacks and pillows and people and sit in their car and watch two movies right there through the windshield, on purpose. Because who doesn't love to spend 4 hours or so in the car? Here I go, getting off track already. Back to this guy Gary... so he had this land and couldn't put a drive-in movie theater on it because there's one down the road already. How many drive-in theaters do you people need? So Gary drowned out the cries of the angry drive-in theater mob, and with a clear head, it finally came to him. That was when Gary hopped on his horse and rode through Barberton, shouting to anyone who would listen, By gosh, I'm building two houses on my land! 2 of em' I said What do you mean, what am I doing on a horse? I'm declaring my intentions This went on all night. But finally, the horse got tired, and so did Gare. So after a nap and some fixings, ol' Gary hopped in the family Buick and went out to buy some lumber and some nails. For a minute, it started to rain just a bit and Gary let himself daydream, if only for a second, that the Big Guy in the sky might just come to him and tell him to build them there houses real big, then go gather himself 2 of every animal in existence and put them in those houses before it gets to raining real hard?. Gary would be a modern-day Noah, a hero to himself and future civilizations. Except his name would be Gary, and Gary's horse was more than just a little jealous of all these new animals. I'm so embarrassed; I don't even know this darn horse's name. It's probably Tim or Santiago if I had to guess. Long story short, Gary built a house, sold it to some other people eventually, then those people got too big for their britches and bought a mansion on 500 acres, painted this house, put some new carpet on the ground, replaced a light bulb, and here we are...
